Heating solenoid valves represent one of the most important active components within the cab climate control system.

The climate control circuit has two operating modes: heating and air conditioning. In the heating system, the climate control circuit has a fan that directs the air towards the surface of a heat exchanger through which hot water coming from the engine cooling process flows. The air can reach a higher or lower temperature depending on the water flow in the exchanger.

The aim of the heating solenoid valve is to control the hot water flow to adjust the temperature of the cab depending on the needs of the driver.

This component is formed by a ball valve, regulated by a direct current motor, and a sensor. Through an electrical signal, the motor moves the ball valve to a certain opening degree to enable the liquid to pass through. The resistive sensor measures at all times the rotation angle of the valve to know its current state.
